FUCKED UP FRONT MOUNT (car smokes)

I was driving the sr 2day and i hit a driveway with my front mount.. i

parked it right after. then i started it up after i got off work and it started

sputtering all crazy... wont idle and black smoke. i checked for the front

mount and there is a big ass hole where the cold pipe and fmic go

together. could a hole fuck it up that bad? my guess is because it doesnt

have compression so the ECU gives more provides more fuel. what do u think?

i drove it home bogn at like 1.5 grand all the way..

yes, you have a leak. get it fixed. that's it.

To explain whats going on, your maf measures the air going into the system. That signal is used by the ECU to figure out how much fuel to put into the engine. Since you have a giant leak, all that metered air isnt going into the engine, causing it to run REAAAAAALLY rich. Thats why its sputtering and smoking. Plug up the leak and it should run fine. Just dont boost till you fix it properly.

i cant just plug it man its fukn HUGE. like an inch and a half squar.

looks like ill need a new front mount.. anyone have one? hahah

Get a new one or see if a radiator shop can fix it. It might be cheaper than buying a new core.
