1. You're in the states now, so the point is moot - you have to pay more for Sil face than stock. 2. in Japan, the cars are so old, they valuate the parts about the same. Quote:
In Okinawa AND Mainland. Mainland is way better in almost every aspect. Silvia front is IS popular there. On Silvias. Also on 180's driven by dorks on base who think it's still a cool thing to do (or are too cheap to spend money on a replacement front end - like me). Quote:
Funny that you shipped your stuff back via the post office and spent the money to do so. We had Personal Property (known as TMO for Marines) send our stuff back. Not even a hookup either. I appreciate that you're asking me to lock this thread because you 'wont be able to stop', but I'm telling you now that you WILL stop agitating people for no good reason, and I AM leaving this thread open. I agree with you with the idea that mickey-mousing a suspension is a terrible idea, and the OP should just find a better solution to his problems, but you don't have to run around pushing people's buttons. |

I missed this post with all the argueing we've been doing. 4cm extra length is kind of long. You can get an extra 10mm with s14 LCA's if you have an s13. To get to 4cm, you might wanna buy a battleversion LCA spherical bearing kit and weld it on to some s14 LCA's. You'll have to run s13 balljoints on them though. I don't know what the range of adjustment on Alex's LCA kit is but you'll probably have to slot the holes in the LCA's for the tension rods due to the change in angle, that is if it can lengthen the arm that much. I'm not a suspension geometry expert but if the tension rod doesn't bind with the change in angle, it should be fine.
