Hi everyone I am in the process of installing innovate oil pressure gauge and im in bit of a confusion. Its built sr20 I have I have ebay remote oil filter housing with plate. The innovate sensor only fits the housing which reads only pressure before the filter. So I just got a tomei oil block hoping it would fit the sensor but it doesn't. Sensor is 1/8-27npt tomei block is for factory sensor 1/8-28pt. So before i hack up my tomei and retread it should I leave the sensor in the remote housing. The only reason I'm asking car is not running yet so just cranking it slowly builds oil pressure to 45-48psi seems bit higher just cranking. Any help would be appreciated. Hoping to crank the car this month been down for almost 2 years

I'm not an expert on it but anywhere in line with the oil system should work...if you want to use the stock location either rethread it or get an adapter

I really dont have a reply, mainly a question regarding this topic. I am currently putting new gauges on my 1992 180sx (oil temp, oil pressure, water temp and boost). My question would be, if i use the factory sensor location for the aftermarket one, would it throw a dash light? Also, where would I be able to put oil temp sensor?

No dash lights wouldd come on. It's 1/8bspt so a defi sensor would work. Temp sensor would go into the oilpan. You need an aftermarket pan though.

I have all Auto Meter Gauges for these. I really do appreciate the info. Thanks

So you would need a 1/8 bspt adapter to 1/8 npt to make it work.
