just swaped an sr20det redtop on my 240sx 91 fastback s13 with ka24de and now im missing a part

NOOB ALERT!!

if u guys see the pics attached im missing the part that fits the empty socket , the other pic has the missing part installed on the socket ( got it from a my old ka24de ) and the engine started fine didnt drive it though.

whats the name of the that part and if possible the part number.

im just afraid the old part wont work perfectly or damage sumthin later on!!

Better pictures would be nice. I think a wider shot, not so zoomed in, on the area so we can see what it may go to.

I am almost finished putting my SR together after a fresh rebuild... Never seen that part before. Probably only applies to the KA. The only thing that looks even remotely like that on the SR is the TPS (throttle position sensor), but that's up front on the throttle body. What harness are you using?

That first plug looks like the coil pack plug or maybe the 02 sensor I can't tell from the dim light and blurry pic.

It's not the throttle position sensor although it looks similar. Its what I've always heard it being reffered to as an ignitor chip back when I had a gti-r swapped into my g20. It's not needed for an SR as they have coil packs instead of a distributor and coil. So get rid of it and move on. An sr fsm for your motor would help you out.

Uhmmm the igniter chip is for your coil packs.... Car won't start without one bro.
