Frying injectors! need help!

So to start off I have a built s13 red top sr20 in my s14 running off apexi power fc with the hand controller, when i got this car it was running rough only to find out cylinder 2 deatschwerks 550cc injector had gone bad, so until I receive a replacement I toss in 370cc q45 injectors and it runs GREAT! for about a day.... then fries cylinder 3 injector, I replace it thinking the used injector had gone bad. Driving the car a few hours later I park it and it takes a while to finally start, it smokes, runs rich, and is sluggish the whole way home. Same symptoms as before. So I pull the injector#3 plug only to find it doesnt change. Im really confused as to why my car is doing this, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the wiring harness

only when harnesses are wired up incorrectly

when wiring for an sr20 no wires that involve the fuel injection are modified are they? With the exception of the fuel pump relay

Are there any other possible causes before i start hacking into my loom?

harness could be shorted/rubbed through and grounded out somewhere.

Inspection of the harness would be a good start

wiring was no issue...

if wiring is not an issue and ECU is fine then gonna have to chalk it up to shitty injectors
