Thought I would share some work I have been doing. I took the pic's off my phone so its not the best of quality but you should be able to understand.

I dont want to spend an hour on here explaining so if you have questions , ask.

First off make sure you take out the lsd , shaft, etc.

then make your marks, take your time cutting so you dont make a stupid mistake.

Haha, I've had to do that same job before when I put an RB25 Neo into my old coupe. So much aluminum dust everywhere.

Yours turned out very nice!

so i just finished doing this exact same thing to my neo rb25 oil pan and have a question.

i cut the diff off and the oppisite side flange off.

can i leave the hollow tube in on the inside that the shaft used to go in rather than welding the holes shut on the outside? it should still keep oil from leaking....right?

since i am putting this pan back on the original motor i cant see why it would be a problem.

I would def take the Hollow Tube out, and weld the L/R side shut.

Why do you suggest that. Couldnt be "better oil return" and it wont leak....

Weld it or tap it and plug it...

To each his own ...

I personally would weld it shut so you wont have any possible leaks in the future
