I have a 1990 240 and I just found out that all 4 of the injectors are leaking.  I don't have the money to change them now.  I was wondering if there was a fuel relieve valve or some sort of trick of technic that will return the fuel to the gas tank after the engine is shut off so the fuel won't keep leaking into the cylinder.  The reason I ask is that my brother used to have a RX-7 and his injectors was leaking and he disconnected something that allow the fuel to return to the gas tank and that really help him out alot.  Does anybody have any suggestions?...One more thing, does leaky injectors cause emmission failure?

That couldnt be good for the engine if you do that. The only possible thing to do is to disconnect the fuel system relay. I wouldnt recommend it though. There would be no benifit from doing this.

what if i can get u some used one?
i just gave 3 of them away for some car parts.... but i might be able to get more....
tell me what u r willing to give for 4 injectors and i will find u 4

One way to relieve the pressure off of the system is to pull the fule pump fuse and then start the engine.  As the injectors are turned on and off, the excess pressure will bleed off.

This would probably be a pain to do every time though.

Thats what I was saying, but it is to ruff on the engine to do this everytime you want to leave it for some time.

Wouldn't opening the gas tank relieve the pressure?
