2 Quick Questions...
Well, I've been searching for about an hour or so now on 2 forums and google and couldn't get the answer I wanted. Was able to get a lot of good information that I didn't know before, but not what I needed.
Very basic questions: 1.) Are the A/T and M/T Carrier Bearing Bracket interchangeable?, and 2.) What are the part number to the nuts and bolts used to connect the drive shaft to the differential? I looked in the FSM and well there aren't any part numbers, just pictures. In the pictures the carrier bearing and bracket look to be the same on both auto and manual, but don't want to base that on just by the pictures. Also was unable to find the part number for the nuts and bolts I need.

call your local nissan dealer's parts dept.
when i did my auto-manual, the parts desk guy was my best friend. i don't know about the dealerships in the valley, but the guys in santa clarita are very helpful. |

just get rid of that stuff and get a one piece driveshaft. lighter and less loss of torque transfer.

I will be getting a 1 piece alum. from The Drive Shaft Shop in about 2 or 3 weeks. It'll go great with my Fidanza that's waiting to be installed as well. Just a little tight on money, but no worries I just went to the junkyard and got the nuts and bolts I needed. Going to be using my auto brackets so all is fine
