s13 CAS and MAF Codes

Hey guys so I know there are threads on both error codes but its also more then that. So the car died and I took the Sr20det apart trying to find out why only to see it was a ground issue. I put it back together and re-timed it exactly how its supposed to be done. (Used Frsprorts Diagram) and the car runs but rough and when I unplug the MAF it runs in safety mode. But my ECU keeps telling me the Cam Angle Sensor is malfunctioning. Is there any way to 100% comfirm this? It worked fine until I took it for a test drive. Then it threw the code and idles at 700RPM and the dies. Any helpful tips.

(Its a Stock SR20DET Redtop. )I have Spark Fuel and Compression. But the car is running VERY rich. I have run out of options and the local shop here wants 600 to diagnose.
