interior lights stopped working, need help
I was pulling my gauge cluster, and when I put it back in the interior lights aren't working. My stereo isn't working either, and the power light is blinking on and off. There is a warning light on the dash, a red one, that is blinking faintly, so faint that you can barely notice it at night. None of the fuses appear to be blown. I'm usually pretty good with electric stuff but this one has me baffled. Anyone help?

no I'm a dumbass. none of the fuses looked blown. the one that said "room light" was blown. it was blown down by the leg, so I didn't catch it. Anyway I put a new 10 amp one it. It turned out to be bad (already blown). The next 10 amp I put in blew right away (must have been a dud). The next 10 amp I put in just wouldn't work for some reason (it was older, so kind of dirty). Being out of 10 amp fuses at this point I swapped a brand new 15 amp one in and all is well in the world. And realistically, that extra 5 amps of capacity shouldn't make much of a difference.
Anyway lesson learned, double check shit before I whine about it online. |

yea you might want to see if that circuit is draining your battery... this happened to me last week. Same fuse. I wound up putting a flashlight in my car, and hardwiring the radio because I can't figure out what on that circuit is draining my battery. If I leave the fuse in, 3 days without driving, my battery will be stone dead.
