My camber was pretty whack when i first put ont he wheels. One side was tucked the other was sticking out of the fender... wtf? So i got it aligned thinking itd all be good. After alignment my front was camebered out to -3.5 both wheels were nicely tucked under the fender... awesome...

But then now i have a bigger problem it seems that my whole wheel moves? Back and forth on the camber axis, or so it seems. Basically i mean it looks like its negative sometimes and then other times horribly positive. And no its not because of the ground ive checked it multiple times on the same flat ground and have had multiple results. My camber plates arent loose and do not move. What can this possible be? Take a look at the photos below im sure you can tell what im talking about.

Slightly better... Sometimes it sits more in.. meaning more negative camber.

Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Last time i had it up on a lift people told me everythings tight... Meaning my arms and stuff.. Could i have a deformed tire? bent rim? but if that was the case wouldnt i feel it when i drive ie. crazy vibrations?

is that the front or back of the car...check the hub could be messed up also check to see if any lugs are loose or the wheel isn't even sitting on the hub correctly.

Check for play in your wheel bearing. Also check to make sure your coilover to spindle bolts are tight.

I just installed BRAND new ichiba hubs. im assuming they were good when i slapped em in... and the spindle bolts and lugs are definetly tight.... I checked those already.

jack up one side shake the wheel and look underneath to see what is loose. alignment guy was probably an idiot n left somethign loose

did u replace em bearings on the hubs? they will go bad sooner than later

retighten the bolts on the shock mount bracket.

I Know ichiba's bearings aren't known to last very long... but i installed them less than a month ago... my camber plate doesn't move at all. I even marked it to make sure. i havent had the time to lift it and really check... and if i did i couldnt check much anyway cause i lost my rays lug nut key and am waiting for my new one to come... (drove the car with it on..)

But the car makes no clunking noises at all in the front, just clunks from my 2 way.

take the front struts off...and hold the camber plate with one hand and try to wiggle it around...if it's easy to move/ play with...your TOP bearing in the coilover is shot...

if so PM b/c i know the guy how sell new bearing to replacew the old ones

or check here :

ball joint (?)
strut UPPER bearing (the one in the CP)

Quality TC rods?
were the rod end bearings were properly aligned?
I have known cheap ones to come loose.

Nobody even mentioned the FLCA bushing, or ball joint being shot?

I've had a ball joint go bad on me when I owned a Z32, that was kinda scary... Wheel would seem loose from the bottom when the car's jacked up. You can literally sit there and wiggle the wheel.

Are you running spacers??

A buddie had this happen at the track, we thought it was a bent rim.

Turns our there was a little hub washer type thing that was behind the rim and not seatring right.

A rim not sitting right over a hub ring would cause the wheel to be completely not sit on the hub straight, causing the rim to wobble badly, not to mention you wouldn't be able to put the lug nuts on correctly either...

And I'm sure the OP has at least driven his car around like that, which, if the wheel wasn't even installed correctly, I'm sure he wouldn't have made it down the block before the wheel fell off...

I say its your strut to spindle bolts that are loose, its a common camber adjustment from factory on vehciles. If you have smaller inner diameter bolts, it allows for adjustment of camber, and if you say your camber plates are tight, I would look in this direction.
