GKTech - Solid Subframe Conversion Bushes/Solid Subframe Bushes

Solid Subframe Conversion Bushes

The GKTECH solid subframe conversion bushes are a direct replacement of the standard items and allow you to fit an S14/S15 rear subframe in your S13/180sx. The solid bushes also ensure that movement of the subframe is kept to a minimum. They eliminate axle tramp whilst also raising the subframe which helps to correct the roll center on lowered vehicles. Unlike most other kits on the market our kit includes multiple spacer inserts to adjust the height to your liking and also includes rubber isolation washers to reduce vibrations and in-cabin noise.

- CNC Machined from 6061-T6 aluminium
- 16 Piece Set + rubber isolation washers

Vehicle Compatibility:
- Nissan 180SX
- Nissan S13 Silvia
- Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T (2WD)
- Nissan Cefiro A31

Price: 109 AUD (approx. 93 USD)

Shipping cost: From 77 AUD (approx. 72 USD)

Zilvia.net intro offer of $30 shipping credit when you spend over $100 using the discount code "Zilvia.net" in the checkout for the month of July.

FAQ

What's involved in installing these conversion bushes?

You'll need to remove the standard bushes from the S14/S15 subframe that you're installing. There's a few ways to remove the standard bushes which option you choose is up to you (google is your friend). Once you've got the standard bushes removed you need to press fit the new bushes in their place. TIP: put the bushes in the freezer for a few hours before installing them. This will shrink them slightly to make things a little easier.

What's the advantage of installing an S14/S15 subframe?

The S14/S15 subframe has better geometry than the S13 unit and also offers more track (ie. width).

What’s the advantage of these bushes?

Besides allowing you to install an S14/S15 rear subframe in your S13, the solid bushes offer a more solid rear end = better driver control and feel.

Do these cause much vibration/noise in the cabin?

Not really. Obviously anything solid or more rigid is going to cause an increase in noise and vibration however I'd hardly say that it's noticeable. Chances are if you're installing these you've already got coilovers, your car is lowered, you've got an aftermarket exhaust etc. etc.

This kit uses a shim style system so You can choose whether You want the subframe on stock height or raised.
