HKS specialist rods research
hello everyone, I bought used rods for my sr20det, the seller told me HKS rod but once received no mark show on it, I plan to push the engine so I do not want to put shit, the rods hks would replace my Eagles, which I do not trust. I made pictures, left HKS pseudo right my Eagles if someone has information or recognizes the model because hks does not answer me? Thanks you

I think the power level a motor is planned on being run at would be the major question here. Sub 600hp, I think... Er I know Eagles are fine. My motor 485whp x 18% drive train loss = 572 crank, which is very conservative. I have Carrillo’s for my next setup, because higher power levels are the goal. However, sleeves are needed at this point too.
Eagles have been used vastly in both markets. They are capable rods, so long as you don’t push too far past the recommended power levels. We all know that’s happened more than once.

Hello everyone, sorry response time, here is the weight of the connecting rod, side photo, left hks, and strange on this model there is a washer on the screw arp2000, who has already seen? For not trusting eagle, on some site it marks 150hp per rod, with my mounting sr23vet, darton ect I thought to push 750hp and head towards rods cosworth, what do you think? |

Build it for future goals, not current goals. You’ll always tweak the setup and/or make changes throughout the life cycle of the motor. Be prepared. Safety factor of 1.5 or so they say.
