FD roll cage specs

Hey guys, I have an 89 Nissan 240sx hatch that I am in the process of building my fd car. I was wondering if anyone had the specs for building a fd approved roll cage? I looked through a couple forums and haven't been able to find anything that helps me. Any help would be much appreciated. I'm new to forums that's why I'm asking thanks.

Lol. There is a rule book which details this info. I suggest you start reading.

Enjukuracing makes a fd legal cage, that's what I have in my car and it fits great. Just remember fd added the forward intrusion bars this year.

Did anyone catch the minimum thickness on the base plates in the rule book? It says it has to be min of 0.08" thick and that is reaaal thin IMO. Thicker plates you get it's going to be harder to work with, but I suggest getting something a little thicker than that. That's just my .02 cents

Good luck with your cage build
