school me on blow through setups!

I've searched and asked around about blow through setups and it just seems like the conversations always turn into an argument. I'm looking for some solid info from people who run/ have run a blow through maf with their setups.
Some main points of interest for me are- how does it effect the mafs? Is it safe to run a z32 maf for this? How will this effect my afr's? Will I need a tune for it to run properly? If so then why?
I have a built sr, t28, z32 mafs, hot pipe mounted hks bov (atmospheric), fidanza flywheel, and an enthalpy chipped ecu and the car falls on its face almost every time I clutch in. I'm hoping to solve this with a blow through setup if its with it and I'm trying to get all the facts for now.
Lemme know what you got!

Get rid of you BOV vent to atmosphere and you'll fix your issue... Plumb it back into you intake between the MAF and turbo
