wiring problems near ecu

i'm having wiring problems i think...i got stuck finishing a sr20det swap into a 91 240 coup and i cant get it started. i have no spark. i thought it might be at the ecu where that white plug comes out of it. it has about 11 wires coming out of the ecu and snaps together with the stock 240 harness plug. then runs up along the underside of the fender on the passenger side.? Do i need to alter that plug, like you have to cut the plugs near the stock battery location so that the right wires meet up with eachother on those 3 harness plugs??Either cut them or alter them so you can still use the plugs. Thanks for any random info, I've been through it all with this shit. definitly worth it

You want to tell us what the fuck you're trying to do?
You don't need to alter anything to fix a problem, if you're swapping in another motor then yes, you do.

No thank YOU for the random info. I would normally assume your wiring an sr in which case I didnt even use those connections, they are just cut off since I ddint wanna find the right colors to match up to what, but then you say problems, and pinpoint, which leads me to believe that you have electrical gremlins or something and your PINPOINTING the PROBLEMS, but then again I dont know what your talking about.

For the white connector, use the following colored wires which, in most cases, match exactly between the KA and SR:
  • Yellow/Red Stripe (ECU pin #3) - tachometer signal
  • Yellow/Green Stripe - speedometer signal
  • Solid Orange (ECU Pin #34) - ignition start signal
  • Solid Black - ground
  • Blue/Green Strip or sometimes SOLID Blue (ECU Pin #41) - A/C signal
  • Blue/Black Strip - water temperature signal
As a side note, there is a Blue/White Striped wire that comes from the non-used ambient temperature switch connector - this wire can be used for any electrical signal that needs to be passed from the engine bay to inside the car.
