Fault codes after swapping distributors
Alright so here's the deal. A friend of mine with a rebuilt KA was having some issues with getting his ignition timing set properly. No matter how many times he pulled the distributor out and attempted to realign/perform adjustments using the stock adjustment, was unable to reach 19-20 degrees. So we swapped my distributor with his and found that his distributor was bad.
Here's where the problem starts. Everything was marked prior to removing my distributor. Everything went right back in like butter and ended up adjusting my timing from previously 19 degrees to now 20 degrees. Car started up fine ran better than before. After leaving his house my check engine light came on. Checked it out and found fault codes 11, 34, and 45. I believe 11 is camshaft position sensor, 34 is knock sensor, I couldn't find 45, I don't have an FSM on hand so if anyone can verify and fill in the blanks that would be awesome. Could adjusting timing possibly throw faults like this? What other possibilities and what steps should be taken to correct them?
