Ive gotten a decent amount done on the car since the weekend. Things should start coming together this weekend when a few new parts arrive. I was able to get my valve covers back. I also swapped out my motor mounts for Whiteline Mounts - this was a very good decision.
I will get up some better pictures of all of this next week. |

I will get those up for you next week. Im also, not ignoring you - I will try to get some measurements as well. I had to get a new transmission adapter bracket because I ordered the incorrect one. Sorry, for the wait.

WHITELINE ENGINE MOUNTS INSTALLED
A better shot of the engine bay and some minor updates. I was able to get my Radium Engineering Coolant Bottle installed, as well as the Radium Engineering Fuel Pressure Regulator and gauge. Im waiting on fittings and hose so I can plumb everything in. |

Ive gotten a lot done to this thing over the last couple of weeks. Right now Im waiting on some key components to get it buttoned up and on the ground so I can send it up to Rob at Godspeed Fabrication to do his magic. Once I have the car back from him, it should be fairly simple.
Im still waiting on lines and fittings for the fuel system. Im also changing out the solid rack bushings for some Poly's. Radium Engineering Coolant Tank Radium Engineering Dual Catch Can Setup Mishimoto Radiator and Oil Cooler Engine Shot |

EVD Round 1 was a couple of weeks back. Going into this event with zero seat time with a new motor, new suspension setup, basically new everything - I was a bit stressed. To add to the factors spinning around in my head it was a wet day - nothing new in the NW. So, we hit the road and headed to t he track. We made a few adjustements at the track due to the track conditions and head out to grid. Needless to say, the car felt awesome. Everything about it was on point and I couldnt have been happier.
I qualified 3rd and once the pieces fell I finished in 2nd place and sit in 2nd place overall in the series, behind Formula D Pro Licensed Driver Kory Keezer. Things didnt finish all well though. On one of my final runs we had a freak tie rod failure, sending my car into the wall - twisting up some metal, destroying tons of parts on the left side of the car. I will get some pictures of that carnage soon. These things happen, its the life of a drift car. We have most of the needed parts to get it back on the ground. Thanks to SPL Suspensions, BC Racing, and numerous other companies for getting us replacement parts very quickly. |

Rad car and build! I love the simplicity and cleanliness.
But let me get this straight, you can drift a car without tubbed fenders and a tube front? You, sir, are a pioneer.
