Cut wheel wells dd?.... Help
So I cut my wheel wells out of my s13 they was completely rusted and I painted my bay totally forgetting to put some bars back in and I don't want to do it then have to repaint again, from what I read the s13 wheel wells have no stucture support and I kinda thought the same thing because of how thin they are in the first place. What I'm asking is will the shock towers be fine and no bend or anything. IF I have to I'll sand and put some in and repaint but I'd pefer not to. The roads where I live are decent not to many pot holes or bumps in the roads. There are some not not major and I pretty much know when to avoid them and where they are.

Your bay will just be disgusting, caked with dirt and road grime, probably get some rock chips

This is so wrong. Look at the strut tower from the top, it's surrounded by metal (the wheelwell). You've removed 1/3 of that material; and therefore, strength.

To everyone else I know that if there is a dirt road or such it will get dirty as hell. But I'm not going to drive is as much as I planned. |

I'm just going ahead and saying again, the only reason I cut that much out was because the wheels wells was rusted to shit and wasn't worth fixing. I could make some bolt in tubes so I wouldn't have to sand the paint down to weld and repaint but idk if that would work
