cylinder head write up????
I have searched but can only find removal info/guides...is there anywhere I can get a write up for re-installing my rebuilt cylinder head on my KA24DE? I have the FSM already but was hoping someone could provide a tutorial to help me along the way.

I found some videos by a 'S13xCrazy' but he only REMOVES the head. I just wanted to hopefully get something where the actual REBUILD is shown specifically the timing and cams. Found another video on youtube with a ka24E motor and I'm a little concerned with the valves and TDC and all that being an interference motor I do not want to crunch my valves. The FSM jumps from installing the cam sprocket cover to tightening the cyclinder head bolts. I already have the cams sprockets zip tied to the chain as I removed them so i'm having a difficult time in how the cams themselves have to point in what direction. If my 1 pistion is TDC, then the cam lobes should be in what postition? 9 o clock intake and 3 o clock exhaust? Make sense?

The FSM has all the information you need and specifies order of install and torque specs, what more do you need?

I am looking at the FSM page EM 18. It shows the pattern of tigthening the camshaft brackets.....my equestion is between step 5 'Install camshafts and camshaft brackets' and step 6 'Install camshaft sprockets' should the cam lobes on the intake cam and exhaust cam be in the 9 oclock position (intake) and 3 oclock position (exhaust)? not trying to cause frustration with anyone but that's what i'm wondering. The mating marks from the sprocket and chains have been zip tied but the cams themselves I am wondering with the 1st pistion at TDC, how the cams should be set.
