wow, welcome to zilvia. learn how to use the search feature located on the top of the forum. learn about key words and about your car. download the fsm and once your put a turbo on your car it won't be street legal.

I can see you easily going down the cookiecutter path then, realizing it's a big undertaking, posting your "uber tyte jdm project car, yo" up for sale.

your 25. this is your first post..
i honestly think you should just sell your car. and get somthing else. also what do you mean by what will fit? you can put 22's on your 240 if you want. i dont think anyone on this forum would like it. but size of wheels are cool. but offest's/widths everything comes into play. please search some more!! but. if you want some help.. just becasue your a noob im not going to flame. but like everyone else said. there is a SEARCH button..use it. love it. and get a fsm. now do you want to keep your stock motor? are you trying to boost your stock motor? are you trying to build it at all or are you just trying to put bolt on parts.. there actually is a thread all about turboing your KA. wheels dont matter. drive your car. thats how you learn. no matter what anyone says. reading books/watching videos/playing forza2 wont get you any better. get track time. drive the shit out of your car. and feel how the car acts. and you will learn. |

you guys are seriously ridiculous and I hope that each of you are kidding
to the original thread poster--doing your own research will help you learn more either way--but find people local that are into these cars and I'm sure they'll be more than happy to help you out with the basics good luck!

Ughh you guys lay off with the flaming shit, we were all there once.
Like others have said search these forums for ideas, and go to the regional section of the forum and find a meet that's local to you. You can get a lot of information from just talking to a person that's been into these cars for awhile. |

Daily Driver/ Street Legal drift car??
LMAO, One year later, daily driving and drifting once a month. Start by doing an auto cross or 2. get used to handling your car and controling it. It will make drifting ALOT easier to do once you start going to events. Keep it on the track. You learn 10 times faster on the track than some sketchy road, street, touge. plus you risk little and no lives. I run a rebuilt SOHC engine, bone stock. Your wasting your money turboing your car. what if you suck at drifting and dont have fun?? So start stock first, learn how, and you will know when its time for that turbo. It will probably easier to not have to deal with the turbo boosting differently during different RPM's too. Stock engine feels alot more linear which is nice for learning. i welded my Diff. bought used springs and shocks for 300, and a set of junk yard rims for $80. bought a ebay steering wheel and hub for $40. And thats it. (besides the original engine blowing, and rebuilding it.) So for under the price of your turbo, you can build my set up, do 2 auto crosses, and 2 drift events with 4 used tires per event. GL |

cut the guy some slack. help him.
if you dont want to see him down that path. you guys act like you learned everything all in one shot. anyways. you cant be street legal once you put on a turbo. 2. you will need to re build your motor with new components. get your compressin lower. 3. get a fuel management system. 4. gather all the necessary parts to make this shit work. 5. upgrade things while changing maintenance parts. consider your budget. 6.use the search button and see what other people did. you should also check out KA-T.org - The Home of 1000+ whp/7 sec Turbo KA's those guys are pretty crazy when it comes to the KA. 7. look up the threads for suspension and wheel fitment. you cant miss them. people share their set ups here. attend some events. auto X, drift days. learn your car stock first. thats the biggest thing i can tell you. IMHO. do maintenance on the motor. beat it up. then rebuild and go balls out. but in the defense of the forum please learn to do a little searching. we dont mind helping. maybe next time ask what kinda set up is good. dont just ask what do i need to do. they dont like spoon feeding here. atleast show you did some hw. =) GL and welcome to zilvia.
