autopartswarehouse.com, bad taste
long story short if you dont want to read the whole story is i have been waiting 14 business days for a refund and after being told 3 times "wait 3-5 business days" im over it... terrible customer service
I ordered a rack and pinion from this company on may 21st 2008 and got an invoice in my inbox explaining that my part would be shipped next day. seemed fast so i was happy with them. yet i didn't receive a tracking number the next day so i was curious. i waited for about 2 days (because i paid 35 dollars for 2 day air shipping) and i called them up on Monday wondering where my part was and how come my bank account hadn't been charged yet. they told me that it would take another 3 days to be charged and for the item to be sent out. I NEEDED THE RACK AND PINION. my went out and wasn't drivable. so i looked around and found a local company buyautoparts.com and they hooked it up. I called APW.com and canceled they said they couldn't stop the billing process although it hadn't been charged yet but i was understanding so i just denied the part when it arrived and it was returned on the 28th and received by them on the 29th. i called and asked for my refund minus shipping and they said 3-5 business days. after 6 business days i didn't get a refund so i called again... AGAIN they said sorry it will be 3-5 business days. AGAIN....nothing. so after a total of 14 business days TODAY...i called again and again they said 3-5 business days. after complaining to there supervisor what can i do next to get my money back...its about 280 dollars that i need... definitely a negative rep for this company. maybe they sell good parts but there customer service sucks |

i had trouble with them a while back when i ordered some brembo s13 rotors. and i got maxima rotors. haha they had put the maxima rotors in the s13 item number box. not dealing with them again. they said i would have to pay for shipping both ways which was not worth it for me. i still have them.

I bought a thermostat from them for Passat before when I had it and they sent me a Jetta thermostat instead. I never dealt with them again after that.
