What's involved is cutting the oem line, lets say off the condenser for example, a few inches from the connection point, and having a crimp-able ac hose end welded on. This will allow you to crimp whichever hose necessary to it, and route the other end of the hose to the compressor. I am happy to help however I can, and can supply you with the needed AC fittings and hose, however a local shop may be cheaper after shipping and everything else is added in. As far as the compressor wiring goes, I really wouldnt know much without seeing the car in person.

There are a few way to do it. My kit is, in my opinion, one of the cleanest ways to keep your ac with the swap. However it is not necessary, especially if you are running an oem turbo setup and have the space. There are some people who have used a J30 compressor with J30 lines and have gotten everything to work, although I believe a J30 condenser is used as well. To be honest, for your situation, the quickest and cheapest way to get working AC in that chassis would be to take the fittings from the condenser and compressor and have them modified by a shop so that they will work with each other.

Hello I had a few questions about the RB ac group buy you have going on, but I didn't want to muck up your thread with my questions. I don't know much about AC systems so I may have a few questions that seem silly.
I have a 96 with a RB20, everything is stock except a FMIC and electric fans. I have one 10" fan as a pusher and one 12" puller. My harness is the stock KA harness modified for the RB. I have the RB AC compressor and s14 condenser but nothing is hooked up due to the lines being different sizes.
I have been told I can hook up a J30 compressor and lines to my existing s14 ac components, I have also been told that if I could find someone to make the proper lines I could just hook up the RB compressor.
Can you help me understand exactly what I would need and what it might cost? I appreciate your time and any help you can offer. I am in and out of the hospital a lot and the Florida heat isn't helping with the situation at all.
