at idle itll stay at 700-1k, but once i gas the car itll rise up normaly the when it drops back down itll hang at 1.5k for like 1-3 sec. ive clean the iacv alfready, ive check the maf, the car has been egr deleted before i bought it. Would that be the cause to the rev hang. Car also has brand new clutch master 6 puck(installed by previous owner). i doubt the clutch would be the cause of the rev hang because it even hangs when revving the car while its in neutral.

Possibly an auto ecu. Was it 5 speed swapped? because my auto to 5 speed swap does that.

Yes it was an auto swap. i will have to check the ecu.

How will I know it's an auto ecu?

Mine does that too except it's more around 1300. Original 5 speed car

Most ka that have been EGR deleted, the RPMs sit around 1300.

Take a picture of the ECU and post it here. W/ the female socket facing you, I want a picture of the bottom, right corner. I'll be able to tell you if it's auto or manual.

Mine does the same kind of thing but in between 1.1k and 2k rpms it jumps. It will slow down normally and then act like I'm giving it a bit of gas and hang for a bit and then it will start to slow down again. Its factory 5 speed but ecu might have been switched out. It doesn't always do it though. Sometimes it runs perfectly fine. I have no idea what it could be. I went over all of my vacuum lines and I found a lot of leaks in my EGR system but I replaced them all.

Mine doesn't, and I've never heard of EGR removal affecting idle if properly sealed. Why would it affect idle?

Mine does the same thing, it's a auto to manual swap as well and it pauses at like 1500rpm exactly.

Auto ecu sounds like the problem.
