So long story short.
Called ChaserAero to place an order for a body kit. told them what i wanted
Told me $750-$800 shipped
My dad wanted me to get a nice hood so they said 1000 shipped with a hood.

I sent my payment over the phone via credit card and all was good
Again i sent $1000 payment to ChaserAero for a full widebody kit and Hood

I gave them part numbers and all.

It finally arrived a month later and no hood was found in the box. I called and MIKE said he was sorry and would send it out asap.

Called to check the status and he started giving me the run around about calling back cause something was up.

Called back and MIKE began acting like if i was asking for a free hood with a $1000 purchase or something.

I have never been so motherfucking upset in my entire life.

While listening to the menu I heard that the calls made to Chaseraero are recorded for quality purposes.
I requested from Dan to get the voice recordings of the conversation me and MIKE had the day I ordered my aero and he said to call back. Now i keep calling back and Mike keeps telling me Dan is not there.

If there is anyway someone can point me into the right direction of who to call and how to handle this situation that would be much appreciated.

It was over the phone so whatever the prices were to add u to 750 without a hood was just marked up on each part to add up to 1000 instead of sending me my hood.

All I need is someone with power in the company to get the recorded conversations from the day I made my purchase to prove my case. But noone wants to hear it.

Hrmm...You may be SOL then. It seems as tho at this point, It's their word against yours. A bank statement doesnt really mean anything as it will only have the price, not the actual invoice of the items talked about/purchased.

Why not just get your money back? Return?

That call is most likely deleted by now or they wont give it to you since it will screw them up even more.

This is what someone posted about ChaserAero and im understanding now why he posted this.

Some tips for dealing with this seller:

* Use PayPal with a credit card as a funding source for added buyer protection.
* Be specific when asking for something. Use the part number from their Web site to make sure there is no confusion about what you want.
* Ask the seller to confirm your part availability on email so you have it in writing.
* Pick up the item in in person if at all possible.
* Bring your vehicle and test fit if possible.
* Inspect everything before you leave the store.
* If something doesn't feel right to you, make sure you get it 100% right to your satisfaction.

These are things you should do with every vendor, but particularly with this vendor. Good luck.

Dealt with Chaser aero before.. terrible body kit company. Their stuff sucks ass, terrible fitment, warped, rough spots, bad customer service.. the list goes on.

And knowing how body kit companies work, they most likely not going to send that hood out after because theyre gonna loose out on $130-150 on shipping. They would make up a story and just refund you the hood money.

People always say eBay parts are cheap stuff.. but if you purchase off eBay or Amazon, there are customer satisfaction where it would benefit you in receiving the kit on time and guarantees that the product is as described. Another reason why you dont see Chasers stuff on eBay or Amazon is because their stuff sucks which would leave the seller with terrible ratings.

contact the attorney general for the state that chaserareo operated in and file a complaint. i had a biz try to rip me off in Illinois contacted the attorney general and because it was automotive related it fell under the lemon law. everything worked out for me in the end.

i hate the fact that all these parts companies are run by car people, who know cars, but don't know how to properly operate a business... they see that dollar come in, and they dont care anymore..

All the locals around here go pick up from Chaser Aero and even then a lot of people don't want to do business anymore. They can't retain employees because they are constantly screwing people over and employees leave.

Do contact the BBB because getting anything from them without serious threat of legal action is going to be very difficult.

My father, who gave me the card to cahrge the money to, is ready to proceed with whatever legal action needed.

^ this guys got it.

BBB wont do shit. They are just a company too, that reviews other companies and gives them a grade based on their 'opinion' and how much said company is willing to pay for a good review.

Hope it works out man.

Here's the owners address:

12210 kingswood ln Kingsville, md

Idk who Mike is, but Daniel is the registered owner. The tax info for them has long expired, so it appears to me they are running a unlicensed business? This is a quick search, so it my not be complete.

Just want to make sure people know this. ChaserAero aka aerokits.com is the absolute sketchiest automotive based exterior parts seller that has ever formed into a business. EVER. May the worst luck and karma in life fall to those who work there. I hope a plane crashes into the warehouse where parts are NEVER SHIPPED.
