I recently purchased the wiring tranny from wiring specialties for the S13 Sr20det. I'm having issues with the last part. I got a plug leftover near the fuse box, so I'm a little confused.. I don't see a female connector for the last part except the brown plug, but the female has different grooves for the grey plug. Any ideas?
The wiring for the alternator and oil pressure is hooked up- grey circle connector goes into the bolt for the ground along with the skinny ground for the lower end of the alternator. The grey 2 pin goes into the side of the alternator and the black rubber goes into the oil pressure sensor.
The starter has 2 connectors; black rounds plug that fits in a stud for ground and a little ground clip for the lower end.
The transmission switch is located in the upper transmission before heading towards the driveshaft. 1 clip that plugs in.
The speed sensor is located in the end of the transmission where the drive shaft meets. One for S13 and another clip for the S14, so only one plug was inserted and the other plug tucked away.
The alternator feed, starter signal was plugged in the bottom, but I got 1 grey 8 pin plug available… as you can see I have 3 plugs vertical on the fuse box. 1 brown 8 pin, 1 grey 8 pin, 1 grey 3 pin.
I connected the 2 pin plug into the bottom part of the fuse box and the other plug in the middle of the vertical female plug.
The problem I came across was when I connected everything else I got 1 grey 8 pin leftover. The lower tranny harness didn’t come with any 3 pin female. Any ideas? 2 female plugs.
