horrible surge!!

from the moment i dropped in my sr its had compressor surge like no other! its a s14 sr20det. all the vacuum lines have been looked at several times so theres no leaks. i tried to recirculate the bov so there is barely a whistle :( and it still surges.. its a hks ssqv so there is no way i can tighten or loosen it. i dont know what else to do. also i have it on the cold pipe side and its welded by a flange so theres no way i can move it to the hotpipe... please help!!!!!

What vaccum line is hooked to it?

is the bov in working condition? can you compress it with your fingers? it may be seized.

theres a single line not being tee'd of into one of the nipples under the tb.
and it should be working its brand new it. my boost gauge reads -18hg and idles perfect.
and i havent tried compressing it yet? not sure what that means??
