I have a s14 sr20det. I recently had a problem with my clutch sticking to the floor. I Checked the slave cylinder and i had a leak. So i decided since i was going to change my slave cylinder i was going to do the master also. After installing both with oem parts on the car. So i started the car and tried to put it in gear could not get it in gear. My question is if the car starts then why i can not get it in gear?

They have nothing to do with each other? You can put the car in gear with it off..
Did you bleed your master/slave after you replaced them? Get rid of the clutch damper if you did it probably has air in it, and makes bleeding a pain in the ass.
If you refuse to get rid of your damper then put your car on ramps and bleed it that way.

did you make sure to bench bleed the master cylinder before pedal bleeding the slave? If not that's probably the issue. Once you have tried that, if it still persists, you probably have a bad master cylinder (although it is "new" wouldn't be the first time)
