First off, I have a '90 s13 hatch I bought with a blown ka. Everything worked on the car when I got it, and the motor would attempt to turn over. I yanked the ka out and put an sr in its place. I upgraded a couple things along the way, including a t28.

Now that you know what I'm working with, here's my issue. I finally got to the point where I was ready for a test fire. I wasnt ready to run the car, but just wanted to turn it over. I hooked a jumper cable from my truck to the pos. terminal, and grounded to the frame. I get absolutely no power at all. Is this a ground issue?
Another thing I noticed is that I cannot find a ground on the car. I ran the cable from my trucks battery and hooked my test light to it. I couldnt get it to light up anywhere on the car. The second I touched my truck, it lit up. I tried maybe 10 places on the car trying to get a good ground but none of them worked. Any ideas would be appreciated. I got to the point where I had been working on the car enough for the day and was tired of trouble shooting so I walked away from it for the day. Im sure its something simple, but I'm brain dead right now!
