Basic premise is that my current VLSD is shot. I was a one tire fire out at my last event  so I need to upgrade what I got to something that actually works.
So first off I just pulled the diff from my car and took a bunch of pictures. I am truthfully not sure what diff I have exactly?! The previous owner did most of the driveline work and I was told "everything back there is R34 GT-T... subframe and all". Well I kind of doubt that as the R34 GTT manual I believe came with a helical diff, and this one is definitely a hardly working VLSD.
What I can surmise from my pictures is that it has the longer snout, it is 5x1 output shafts (unsure of spline count, I didn't pull them out), it is a VLSD, and I'm pretty sure its a R200 (the R230 IIRC is considerably bigger).
Anyone know exactly what rear end this is?

So this all leads into my next question... What exactly should I do? I think I could probably get an older J30 VLSD and it would match what I have now, however then I am left with another old VLSD that probably will work for shit. I honestly have been thinking to just buy the Helical Quaife ATB differential. Yea it is expensive, but they are really what I am looking for. Does anyone know if the R200 based diff from Quaife will work with what I have? Do I have to open it up and check to make sure I have a specific ring gear or anything, or are all R200 differentials the same? This is the quaife I am looking at:
Nissan R200 Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential - Quaife Engineering (http://www.quaife.co.uk/Nissan-R200-280Z-300Z-10mm-and-12mm-bolts-ATB-differential)
Thanks in advance for all the help!
