anyone every moved a KA24DE in a S13 more towards the rear.
any issues with the driveshaft? Is there enough room for the yoke to be sliding in and out of the tranny?

2cm isnt enough to matter i dont think. it'll change like .01% or some small amount like that.
battery relocation is going to balance it more than that. or a fiberglass bumper.
and you'll want a 1 piece driveshaft if ur going through all the shit to move the engine that tiny bit -
if you want to make a real change by moving the engine - move it back 6 inches.

You would be wasting more time than it's worth. Unless you have performed every other weight reduction you can and drive in super competitive events, it's not going to do shit for you. Seeing as your driveshaft and engine are still stock and you haven't relocated the battery and you are worried about cost, leave it all alone. Do your suspension work and weight reduction if you are worried about weight balancing. Or just leave it all alone if you are just trying to impress your honda driving friends at work.

Assuming your only issue is the propeller/driveshaft length, you should finalise engine placement and then give the Driveshaft Shop a call. They can spec out a shaft for you.
As for your other issues, I will not comment on them because you didn't ask for comments on engine placement.

Does your car have abs? If not u could use an abs driveshaft because its shorter.
Or you could y'know, leave it where it is so its not a pain in the ass to get to your transmission bolts and your turbo isn't even closer to your BMC.

Hell, the engine probably rocks back on it's mounts more than 2cm when you accelerate. Really, 2cm?

Does the engine roll back? I dont think i ever noticed mine moving any way but side to side.
either way 2cm=stupid.

lean your seat back when you are driving and it will make more of a difference than 3/4 of an inch!

2cm is nothing. 10-20cm is worthwhile.
Koguchi had an S13 that he moved the engine back substantially on.
