Well, I've been searching for about an hour or so now on 2 forums and google and couldn't get the answer I wanted. Was able to get a lot of good information that I didn't know before, but not what I needed.

Very basic questions: 1.) Are the A/T and M/T Carrier Bearing Bracket interchangeable?, and 2.) What are the part number to the nuts and bolts used to connect the drive shaft to the differential?

I looked in the FSM and well there aren't any part numbers, just pictures. In the pictures the carrier bearing and bracket look to be the same on both auto and manual, but don't want to base that on just by the pictures.

Also was unable to find the part number for the nuts and bolts I need.

call your local nissan dealer's parts dept.

when i did my auto-manual, the parts desk guy was my best friend.

i don't know about the dealerships in the valley, but the guys in santa clarita are very helpful.

yes the carrier bearing brackets are the same, so you can use either one.

Which is what I did, actually I visited mine since it was on my way. Got all the part numbers and prices. Sadly he didn't have any of the items I needed in stock. :(

Going to try the A/T one anyways and going to the junkyard asap to see if I can find some of the nuts and bolts I need.

Oh and btw I'm a retard because I'm completely forgot about Courtesy Parts. I could have gotten all the info in minutes.

just get rid of that stuff and get a one piece driveshaft. lighter and less loss of torque transfer.

I will be getting a 1 piece alum. from The Drive Shaft Shop in about 2 or 3 weeks. It'll go great with my Fidanza that's waiting to be installed as well. Just a little tight on money, but no worries I just went to the junkyard and got the nuts and bolts I needed. Going to be using my auto brackets so all is fine :D
