its 75% of the way done. its not hard, fender gap is kind of annoying. Im looking for some FRP fenders to reshape and fix it.

i dont want to hear. Paint your car, it looks like shit. Ugly wheels, or whatever you want.

It is a project car. Ive had it for 3 months. almost 3500 dollars, 3 different front ends, 4 sets of wheels. I dont want to hear shit.

Its more of a how i did it thread for the people that are interested. I promised a member back a month ago id do a how to



Basically here it goes
The hood-
Lines up perfect, however you will ned the Hood latch extension bracket off the r32. other than that its bolt on
fenders-
You have to cut out the unner part towards the door, so it doesnt hit on the OEM brackets that stick out. On the bottom of the fenders, the mounting points are vertical vs the horozontal OEM mountings. Shoot some sheetmetal screws up in the biatch and call it a day (i have zipties now since someone stole my dewalt)
On the REAR most hole, you will need to take a dremel, and the hole neds to be extended all the way tot he end of the fender, like a slot. so you can bolt it down.
For the front of the fender, yuo need to get some sheetmetal, or radio bracketry to maek some brackets to pull the front of the fenders in. I bolted them to the top of the rad support, there are two holes that are threaded i used!!
On the inside front, where you would put a horizonal bolt, you need to make a bracket for that one also.

Front bumper mounts to the fenders, im still workign on brackets since it got dark in the middle of it to pull it in and up where it shoudl be. More to come

My car was in NOWHERE near that state when i got it, it was stripped of all the good aero, with cheap fitting, knock off aero parts. Shitty ONI wheels, none of the parts that were on that car were there when i got it. SO dont even try and compare it from then to now. Oh yeah and not to mention 3 out of 4 ocils were blown when he ASSured me they werent. I have no respect for Aris anymore. he lied about 80% of the shit from the car. If he woudl have been straight up, adn told me shit wasnt OEM and suspension was blown, it woudl have been fine. but he didnt and lied.
Thanks again for bringing up a dead horse with the previous state of the car when i tried to explain it wasnt that nice to begin with. And have a windshield sitting in the house, id rather pay for a track day than a windshield install!

I am getting an FRP front for 25 bucks until I can find a GTR bumper nad grill and hood…I got the whole front end for 50 bucks, so I wasn’t really out any cash.

Nope nothing like it, none of the aero fit correctly, all hanging off and shit. I had some missized horrible shape ONIs with no tires that I could drive on, and some Kouki seats, and an exhaust. That’s it.

Yep I don’t like the way NON OEM fits. Im a person who likes clean ass lines (yeah it doesn’t show nowbut it will soon) If I can source a Silvia AERO bumper, the silvia front will go on again. This is reersable, I just got bored cause my gaskets didn’t come in yet to reseal all me exhaust leaks from the PREVIOUS OWNER

Yep, I have an extra set of r32 fenders, and an extra set of silvia fenders. That’s what I was planning on doing to make it right, cut off at the wheel arch, and mesh the silva to the skyline fender to get rid of the buldge.

Again thanks to all the haters who think I turned a car they never saw in person when ibought it into something worse. But its gotta get worse before it gets better. Like it or hate it, its my car. If the other front would have had REAL OEM parts, instead of him LYING and SAYING they were OEM then me finding out later EVERY PIECE wasn’t, then it would still be on. Id rather spend 400 on an OEM aero bumper, than whatever on an origin bumper. I like the OEM look. On every car ive had, never had a bodkit, and id like to keep it that way. …unless I decide to put this FRP bumper fromt hat kid on until I find a gtr bumper or a silvia aero bumper.

obviously that aero isnt NISSAN FACTORY aero. if you knew anything at all you could tell that in 2 seconds. like, hmm, the rear lip is one pice instead of multiple pieces, and is way lower than oem anyway. and the front, the bumper is obivously 1 piece instead of kouki bumper/side plates/lip. anyone could look at that car for 3 seconds and tell that. but that dosent change the fact that the aero is still OEM STYLE.

i DIdnt know anything about nissans when i got it. I was wanting to get into nissans. So i took his word for it. I sold the ONIs for 600 bucks to replace the BLOWN suspension that Aris said was good if you really want to nkow why i god rid of them. And then i went to 17x8j Vokl GTUs, then got rid of those for a prfofit, put skyline wheels on until i decided what iw anted, then this deal came up for hte AVS wheels.

The headlights and turns are mounted, im going to the hobby shop to put it on a lift so i can make the bottom brackets to push the bottom out and make it flush all the way areound.

If you check out the first page of the Picture Thread, you'll see what I was working with. 2 to 3 shades of primer, and some leftover stock blue. The rattle can job I pulled off in my yard, was a necessity to prevent rusting. (And doesn't look too damn shabby for a ghetto bark yard rattle-canning IMHO) I know you wanted the paint on your numerous front ends to match the car, but why not rattlecan them white and have them barely match, rather than paint the whole car. I'm not "hating" on your want to be different. Just dissappointed with your methods to achieve it. At least tell me you didn't see my car before you decided to put the Silvia front end on yours and paint it Flat Green. Then, maybe, I'll be able to just let it go.

r32 tails look like shit on an s13. they arent curved like ours are, and so they look wierd where they meet the bumper. Theres an s13 on ebay with r32 tails.. and a sexy model hangin all over it. I wonder if shoe comes with the car too?

Hmmm, that's funny. I've posted my car in every level of ghetto ass ugliness. From beat ass primer and steel wheels, to it's current Krylon Special and 17" bullshit wheels. I have the Aero front end I wanted to get, with my Silvia conversion. Yet for some reason I don't have thread after thread of people telling me how badly I fucked up a car, or pissing contests about what my car should or shouldn't be. Is that because people are afraid of a Moderator? Maybe some of them, but not most. Is it because my car is actually the coolest S13 rolling around the boards? Hell no! Is it because I have never tried to present my car or myself as something we're not? Perhaps that I have openly admitted that my car isn't all that great? Or that anytime someone does speak up against me or my car, I just laugh it off because it doesn't matter anyway? Probably so. You said you weren't going to respond to haters, but here you are again, trying to defend yourself for no good reason.
Personally I think your car looks like pure ass right now. You've contradicted yourself by saying you only want OEM Aero because of how well it lines up, and then gone and put a front on your car that is no where close to lining up. You took a half assed paint job idea, and half assed it all over again. So now your stuck with a 1/4 assed car. When I painted my car, I knew it wasn't gonna come out looking great, but I took my time with it, and had fun. I've gotten compliments, all of which I laugh at, but most have said it's a huge improvement over the primer I was rocking before. Primer that I had to put on, because my car had been damaged in an accident and I had to strip it down the metal to fix a few things. In your case, you painted over perfectly good factory paint. For what reason? You wanted to be different and not go Matte Black, right? They make damn near every color in the world in matte. You cold've painted your front end matte white and at least come a little closer to matching the perfectly good paint on the rest of the vehicle.

Fuck this, I'm done. It's midnight and I have to be at work in 5 hours. You can come back here and attempt to defend yourself again, or you can just take it for what it is. Constructive criticism. Stop half assing stuff, and then getting all pissy when people call you out. If your gonna do shit half assed, then have a sense of humor about it.

And remember, even if it's done right, sometimes things just don't belong together.

All you had to do when you got the car was get some new coiliovers and better size wheels, then youd have a better car then more then half the forum. The way it looks now, id much rather rock a bone stock 180. Just because something is cheap doesnt mean you have to buy it. Just because its different doesnt make it cool. That combo could look good if done right, but youre far from pulling that off imo.

again, this isnt permanant, if in a month i havent found a silvia aero bumper, ill order the correct fenders from importfan, put them on and then haev the car painted.

but since damn near everythign i have been saying is misconstrewed somehow, ill go ahead and end this now. and be sure and not post pics of my shit again until its done. which im sure will solve everything, since its ONLY the appearance of my car that everyone hates.....jesus people, its fuckign paint, Why not be worried why i haev a stock cat, or no tension rods, or rear upper contrl arms, instead everyone is harping on shit that is asthetics. the shit WILL get done. just when i decide which front to go with. For all i know i may go back to a 180 front...i just dont know. But fuck guys, its paint and some shetmetal that you are saying is ruining a car.
