What's the issue you are trying to solve?

I don't know what other MC will work, with comparable cylinder size.

Ahhhhh gotcha, that's good info to know. Would you be able to make custom lines to clear or is it literally right up against the mc? The reason im asking is because I MAY go 2jz

It's not so much an issue with the turbo 2j's as the n/a like what's in mine. If I go to my shop tomorrow and remember, I'll get a pic of the lack of clearance.

Now question #2

Do I get a s13 rhd bmc or a rhd z32 bmc? I recently got a hold of some 26mm calipers and I'm wondering if when its time to go 5 lug with the bigger brakes will I need the z32 bmc or will the s13 bmc suffice? I've read arguments going both ways.

Im not sure of what the arguments are, but when going larger brake caliper piston volume, you typically need to push more volume on the bmc side to reduce spongy brake feel and increase brake resistance...harder the pedal feel, the easier it is to modulate brake pressure for finite control. The other thing that is important to pay attention to, is the proportioning valve, so that you are getting an even brake distribution. So if you are going z32 fronts and have the ability to run the same size piston rears as z32 (I don't know what swaps over, im a honda guy learning nissans) but if you can get the piston size close, then id say run a z32 prop valve as well.

I always try to match my front calipers to my bmc, then followup with matching rear brakes and prop valve.

I tried using a LHD Z32 BMC on my 180SX. It was impossible to fit the lines, without them hitting the strut tower. Just a heads up....

Oh wow, I didn't even notice that. Ya that looks even tighter.

If you go rhd, you may have to put in your line fittings then install the bmc

Or add stainless lines to add flexibility?

Just had a thought...you could use banjo bolts with a stainless line, and then stainless lines to the hard lines...

Only thing you need to do if you with the 2 banjo bolts, is you need to get the type that have safety wire holes and safety wire them so that they don't loosen through movement. That's why banjo fittings on brakes always have the two prongs to keep it from loosening.

Need something like this:

www.ka-t.org :: View topic - Some progress on occasional weekends-new setup
here's an example of what i did about my brake lines from the master cylinder to ABS (gives alot more clearance from downpipe)...i got all this stuff from Summit:

(4) 10mm x 1.0 Banjo Bolts (EAR-997517ERL)
(4) 10mm banjo to -3AN adapters (EAR-997631ERL)
(2) -3AN to -3AN 36" steel braided lines (RUS-656100)
