Ok i just tried to order a boost controller from rollhard.com and when i clicked to submit my order a screen came up that said "hacked" on the top. What is that, some joke or a error, or doe's someone out there now have my credit card #. I did'nt get a confirmation reply from the site so i'm assuming they did'nt get the order, can someone tell if this happened to them, please.

Sorry, it won't send out e-mails to ur friends...here's wut it does and how you get infected...
The Code Red Worm is a type of computer virus that spreads using computer networks, rather than through things such as infected e-mail attachments. It infects Microsoft NT web servers that do not have the most current operating system programs loaded. Once a web server is infected it is defaced with a "You have been hacked" message. The virus then scans the Internet looking for other computers to infect, and as more and more computers are infected the scanning gets more widespread. |

I would call rollhard.com (they should have a customer service number to call) and ask them if they received your order. Then you should call your credit card company and inform them about the situation and the message you received and have them cancel your card--just to be on the safe side. If the credit card company can't trace an unapproved charge (one that you did not make), you may not get the money back and you will have to pay it back.
I have been through this before--I had over $500 drawn out of my account w/ my debit card #, and I never received the money back because the bank couldn't trace it to prove it was an unauthorized charge. |
