So I'm at that point in the speedometer project that I'm at a brick wall.
I'm getting no output to the 240sx's speedometer.

Parts I have:
* Speed sensor in transmission: Trail Gear 301447-1-KIT
* gkgoodcheapparts's "UNIVERSAL SPEEDOMETER CORRECTOR CALIBRATOR, 2.5% to 1000%, 2-BUTTON SETUP" speedometer converter.

Some Info on the Parts:

* Trail Gear 301447-1-KIT
Not much information is given on this besides the pinout, I am assuming it is standard with the rest of the Toyota speed sensors. This sensor should be the exact same as the Marlin Crawler one.
Pinout:
(1) 12v VDC IN
(2) Ground (-VDC)
(3) Signal Output (+VDC)

* gkgoodcheapparts's speedometer corrector/converter
4 pins
(1) Output (12v)
(2) Input
(3) 12v Power
(4) Ground
* Two buttons, one to up the signal by 0.05, other to down the signal by 0.05. This should be a ratio.

Some Information I have found so far:
* 240sx is 16,000 PPM AC sinewave signal.
* The Toyota VSS (should be) 4,000 PPM Squarewave signal going off of wilbo666's documents.
(so I have the converter set to 4.00 to increase it 4 times.)

My Wiring
* 12v Switched to Sensor 12v Power pin 1
* 12v Switched to Converter 12v Input.
* Engine ground going to Sensor Ground pin 2.
* Engine ground going to the converter ground.
* Sensor Signal pin 3 going to converter input signal.
* Converter output going to the Y/B pin #24 on the F3 connector.

I get no kind of output to the 240sx's speedometer.
The company even said when using a 3-wire sensor, to use a pullup resistor between signal and voltage. I tried that one too, made no difference.

The 240sx's wiring diagram shows the original AC speed sensor going to the speeedometer via the E202 connector R/Y and R.
Then it has that Y/G wire going to the VSP pin on the ECU.
Under that pretense I would imagine Y/G was output only.
But seeing other people withe Dakota is using that wire I guess it don't matter.

* What I have tried:
- Using a volt meter to the speed sensor output I see 12v during idle, and then sometimes it bounces around 5v - 8v while the car is moving.
- Tried directly connecting the speed sensor output to the VSP wire.

Does anyone have any advice or direction with this?
I should of just bought the dakota one. But at this point I don't know if there is something wrong with that Trail Gear sensor either.
