Z32 rear brake swap!? Possible??

I'll keep this short. We know putting the rear brakes on a s chassis requires a r33 ebrake cable and all that.

Can I remove the cable brake and stuff, and use just the z32 brakes and rotors on a s14 rear, and use a HYDRO ebrake to bypass the whole conversion e brake problem?? Will they bolt up? Will I run into any unexpected problems?

Use the Z32 2+2 E-Brake Line, its longer than the standard Z32 line. Idk why people think you need to get R33 lines or a extension.

yes, you can use your hydro ebrake as a replacement for the stock ebrake as long as your hydro has a provision to lock when engaged.

R33 lines are a direct bolt on for S14

2+2 lines are perfect for S13, but they're not long enough for s14 and require an extension.

That's why people use R33 lines.....

im not sure how well the seal would hold up to pressure being applied for 8-12-xxxx hours at a time. over and over and over.

spend the extra $150, and pick up a set of rear drum e-brakes with cables and do it right, its not "that" expensive. it only takes a 19mm wrench, and a hammer to swap out the backing plates. and new ebrake cables swap in with 4-10mm bolts.

i did the full rear e-brake conversion in about 3 hours in my garage. and also re-painted the front calipers, and detailed the front calipers.

You will keep the OEM e-brake handle, and it will work like OEM. its hard to match that fit and function.
