AFR gauge questions

I want to run this gauge with my turbo setup...
HTML Code:
http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&safe=off&q=AFR+gauge&gs_upl=4105l8097l0l9135l19l12l0l0l0l5l1670l12211l5-1.3.5.2l11l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1280&bih=591&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=11307249647478544556&sa=X&ei=bEWGTqLyMeOqsQKV86W9Dw&ved=0CFYQ8wIwBA
It says hook it up to your narrow band 02 sensor.

Does that mean i can hook it up to my existing 02 in my manifold now and it will work?

Someone please educate me on the correct way to read AFR's. I want my engine safe.

yes you can replace your o2 sensor with the new sensor but if you have stock ecu it'll throw a code and prolly not run right

Unless you're running a PFC with the o2 sensor feedback turned off, or you run a wideband sensor setup that has a narrow band output that you can tap back into the stock o2 wiring.

Maybe I missed something, but I think that's just for the gauge and harness.
Nobody not even glowshift would sell a wideband for $43

I mean the sensor is more than that alone!
I could be wrong...!
So I'm going too say no, you will not be ok hooking this up to your existing current NB 02 sensor!

you planning to run that with your turbo setup? you need a wideband AFR gauge Innovate DB Blue LED Wideband Air/Fuel Gauge Kit, 52mm 2". Includes LC1! NEW | eBay, watching a narrowband isn't gonna tell you much. I prefer innovate, but I also have AEM, and PLX

Replacement wideband o2 sensors usually run you about $60-80.

Innovate for the win...It outputs narrowband and wideband so you can use it as a single o2 and feed the narrowband to ECU and wideband to gauge. I wouldnt skimp on a wideband for sure dude...

It's a narrowband guage... hooks up to stock o2. Just splice that shit if you really want it. Obviously the majority will reccommend a wideband.

Whats the point? You hook up a narrow band o2 sensor, you might aswell just have blinky lights for a gauge. Narrow band gauge is just about as cool as having a damn disco light in your car.
