Blew coils hooking up tach on VQ swap?
On my recently completed VQ swap in my 240, I hooked up the negative side of a coil to the Y/R tach input wire and ended up frying several of my coils... I was hoping the tach would just read 33% higher...
I replaced coils, disconnected the wire to tach, and now everything is working fine again...
What am I missing? I am planning on buying a Dakota Digital converter, will this solve my problem or do I need something else as well? Also, is my tachometer likely toast now too?
Thanks
