intercooler quest

okay so ive gone through diff kinds of intercooler setups on my s13 sr. front mount, side mount, mid mount.... so my thing with all this is that i want to make power with good airflow to intercooler. cuz i just got my power fc but dont want to stand out with front mount sticking out (scared of the law). my main thing is to keep the sleeper look. arc makes a set up with a small front core thats lets you keep the sidemount piping and ive seen guys paint their front mounts with spray paint and powder coat but heard all that is bad for the core... any ideas out there??

i cant see how a light coat of black spray paint should affect it too much.
