how to replace rear fuel line, need help.

hi, I 've tried searching but could not find the answer I am looking for. I know there must be a whole handful of you that have the answer so here goes. I drive a 1991 180sx with the redtop sr20det. Recently I found that my car has been leaking gas. I started by checking the fuel pump and found that there was a pin hole leak in the rubber fuel sender line coming off the fuel pump. My question is, if I want to replace that hose do i have to drop my gas tank to access the line or is there an easier way to do it? the hole is about two inches away from the pump itself. I just want to know what I am in for before I begin, its getting cold out. Thanks.

no need to drop tank...
remove line from top in trunk...push down towards engine bay/ front of car...
you'll see it from under car...center of car...not hard to do..replace with fuel injection line tho! clean up all old gas residue...and undercoat before winter while there...
good luck! ehh!
