i'm confused with rocker arms!!! with tomei solid lifters

According to this write-up, it says that the rocker arms need to be cut in order to shim correctly in conjunction with the tomei solid lifters and the valves? Can someone verify that this is correct. I bought the solid lifter and i lost the installation manual.

"You need to get your rocker arm cut like shown as recommended by Tomei. The following is actually copied from Tomei’s manual. I think this is necessary because the solid lifter is higher than your normal HLA so when the cam lobe pushes on the rocker arm, the tip might dig into the shim. Also more chance of this happening with high lift cams."

Yes, you have to mod the rocker arms. Follow the recommendations from Tomei, can't remember what the angle is since its been so long since i had mine done.

I love how Tomei solid lifters are 1/4 the price of bnib oem hydraulic lifters. Shit trips me out since tomei stuff is usually an arm and a leg lol.

Follow Tomeis recommendations. They know best.
