because the ECU reads code 14. also, my speedo needle is verry erratic, sometimes it works fine, sometimes it jumps around like it just snorted a fat line of tweek, and sometimes it doesnt work at all. im hoping this will be a fix. this is my 3rd gauge cluster that has doent the same thing, so im positive that is not the problem. and for the o2 sensor, if i knew where it was, im sure it would be easy to find. but... i dont.

O2 sensor is on the exhaust manifold (driver side of the engine bay). It has a single black wire coming from the back of the engine to the exhaust manifold. Its slightly above that metal pipe sticking out of your manifold. Easy to find.
The speed sensor is the rear most "plug" on the transmission. Its closest to the drive shaft and right near the shifter if you have a 5 speed. It has a single screw (phillips) which is very difficult to get out without stripping sometimes. I highly suggest spraying that screw with WD40 or somehing before trying to take it out. There is a hole on the opposite side of the screw from which you can spray in the WD40 or PB blaster. Whatever you do don't strip the screw, or you can be like me and drill it out. Sometimes they come out easy, sometimes they don't. Poor design. |

The screw on the speed sensor is also a 10mm screw. Using a socket or a 10mm wrench will get it off, it is tight so be carefull not to strip it b/c the phillips part will strip way easier. You'll also have to drain the oil from the tranny, unless you work really fast and don't mind fluid on your chest. Wiggling it left and right will make it come out easier.
