z32 master question
ok i just did z32 brakes and
i found a z32 master cyl for 90 300zx turbo for cheap new and part places have a diffrent part number for this year 300zx 92-96 have another part number can the the 90 master be used or should i get the 92 and up

The difference is two fold, some z32 masters have the center hole plugged and you need to cannibalize a stock MC to use the little fitting(there are how-tos out there). The second part is the length of the piston and impacts the pedal travel distance

ok cuss i just found where i can buy new 90-91 300zx master cyl for 40buck new and 92-96 master cyl for 69 new

Also bear in mind that your brakes will feel 'stiffer' at first due to lower pressure of the Z32 MC being applied to the calipers. This is actually a good thing because the higher pressure, OEM MC, although making for more sensitive brakes makes it very easy to lock the brakes up instead of slow the car. I've Z32 (GT-R) F/R brakes w/Z32 MC... and I also did the S13 (AT) booster. The feel is really nice. Recommend you go with the 90-96 MC...

Long as it has 3 ports youre good. Yes youll need a fitting for the middle port. You get three tries from your old master to get it right. Bore size is the difference between year. I use 7/16 master. Brake pedal feels the same as stock brakes with stock master, but stops like a really light Z
