I recently bought a 93 240sx with sr swap. Below is a list of what has been done to the engine.


Sr20det redtop
Stock con rods (i believe will be asking)
Stock T25 turbo @ stock boost 7lbs
Stock injectors
Stock ecu with a Apexi Neo wired in but no tuning done with it
wiseco 9.0 compression pistons
acl conrod bearings
acl main bearings
acl thrust washer
arp head studs and main studs
Cosworth head gasket
tomei 256 cams
new rocker arms
new vvl lifters
rocker arm stoppers
arp con rod bolts
new isis water pump
new stock maf sensor
front mount intercooler
walbro 255 fuel pump,
full 3 inch exhaust and downpipe

What kind of performance can i expect from this motor? Is this motor built well parts wise (hoping the guy that built it knew what he was doing) im not having any issues with it just want to know the pros and cons to what he has done with the engine. It is currently running on stock boost. What would be the estimated hp/tq at stock boost if that is possible to answer?

180rwhp the way it sits if the t-25 is newish


I would drive it at least 1 year, perform one compression test, and change the oil often is the most important thing.
Listen for piston slap to help verify it has those forged pistons installed (are you sure they are in there?).

If it stays together for at least a year, oil looking clean, then think about modifying it.

The engine was rebuilt almost a year ago. There is not issues at the moment. I am just trying to find information on the build. pro and cons.

Engine re-builds mean low mileage. If it was done right it should last a long time. If it has real forged pistons that also means you can raise the power to 400rwhp for a long time. A stock piston engine would want to stop around 350.

your first step however is verify the forged piston install. Look down the spark plug hole and try to read the top of the pistons for numbers.
- Do a compression test.
