KAEt or Rb20

Hey guys i come to you in like some help, i got another s-13 a couple months ago and so far i've been slowing getting upgrades for the single cam. Which brings me to the question should i stick with the KA and boost it or should i just go RB like i've done in the past? or anyother motor for that fact. Thanks for the help

Well, youre in AZ I'm guessing.
So no smog.

Go RB. Easier to get satisfaction.
Especially since you have done it before in the past,
should be cake this time around.

The KA24Et sounds like more of a money pit
to actually be happy with it.
Unless of course you already have most the stuff to go KA24e-t.
[i would go full rebuild if you actually want it to last a bit.]

hmm.. a 6 cylinder 2.0 litre

or a 4 cylinder 2.4 litre...

ka's are literally sitting around waiting to be taken home. if someone tried to charge me $100 for a ka nowadays i'd be offended.

turbo the ka.

even if you dont get it right the first time, you can try again for free to cheap (which you should though, there are all sorts of ka-t threads on here)

KA's are harder to get a hold of than SR's now a days in cali.

And people who do have them want a fuckload of money for them.

fuck that.

Anyways...

Kaet or rb20?

That's like choosing wither you should keep the diarrhea that's in there or swap in a nice big pile of steaming horse shit

Maybe for a torn up single slammer.

Find me a running DE in Cali for 100 bucks and I'll buy you dinner.

I've always wanted to do a KAE-T. I think with a full rebuild and a nice little setup it'd be great. It'd certainly be unique and I'd love to really see big power coming from the underrated single slammer. I say KA, because mostly I don't see the point of a 2.0 liter inline six.

Not enough information. What is the application? How much money do you have to spend? How much fabrication skills do you have?

My default answer is always Chevy small block. Parts are cheap and makes great power but setup cost is very high.
