Transmission not going into gears smooth
What would cause this? My B13 SE-R doesnt have this problem. S13 does. And the clutch is grabbing RIGHT off the floor. Very annoying.
Does this problem go hand in hand? Clutch not released all the way causing for the gears to be harder to shift into? Supposedly this is a new tranny. |

sounds like it could be a slave cylinder problem, make sure its bled correctly. also check if the clutch fork/throwout bearing are in good shape.

ADJUST your clutch pedal, 99% sure that is your problem, its the nut/bolt thing behind the clutch pedal, very odd position to get in to see it

Alright adjusted clutch pedal to no success. Still hard to throw gears. If I hold the shifter to the gear for a second it'll finally fall in. As if there wasnt a clutch at all and the syncro's were doing all the work. I'm going to check slave cyl. next.

hmm....well in the grand layout of hydraulic actuated clutches, there aren't many places where something can go wrong.
If you haven't already done so, i'd bleed it again for good measure. Then if that doesn't fix it, i'd check for leaks in either the clutch cylinder or the slave cylinder...both are in very accessible (to look at) places. good luck and let us know what's up |

First off you bypassed the clutch dampener right? if not, then do that first. then id replace the slave cylinder. Its like 15 bucks and should be done anyway, if that doesnt fix it i bet it was the adjustment at the master, try adjusting it more its kindof a bitch and sometimes when you think your turning it the actual rod is turning and your really not adjusting shit.
