Brakes won't bleed out all the way.
Ok. So I recently put on some q45 calipers and rotors up front on my 91 hatchback and new oem rotors and pads in the rear. Me and a buddy have been trying to bleed the brakes now for almost a week. There were no holes anywhere in the brake lines. So we assumed it was the brake master cylinder. Got the new one in and when we tried to bleed all the air out again, after about 3 hours, brakes were just still real soft.. We've bled with the abs on and off seeeeeeeeeveral times. went out and bought a brake bleeder kit even. Just seein if anyones gone through this already. Any help would be great. Thanks.

hmm are you sure there isnt a leak somewhere. if all the bleeder valves are closed, you have a new master, and there are no leaks in theory it shouldnt lose pressure.

arrrrrrrgh. thats what im saying. guess ill just give it another go today. someone told me they had a problem with their abs s13 as well. said they ended up puttin 2 gallons of brake fluid through it before it finally got all the air out and stiffened up.. must be a little pocket of air hiding. sigh. Thanks though King. Much appreciated.

Make shure the calipers are on the right sides. If the bleeders arnt on the top the air will stay trapped in the calipers.

Unplug the ABS actuator under the hood. Now bleed as you would normally.
