Eastwood Fender Roller Deal EBAY!

Hey guys I just saw this deal on ebay this morning and I have this on my watch list so they usually go for about $200 shipped...

Well right now it offered from Eastwood for $149 shipped
$100 off MSRP of $249 plus shipping & tax

Eastwood Fender Roller Inner Lip Forming Rolling Tool | eBay

Ebay item number: 360737179194

I don't work for them or anything like that, just thought that some of you might want this deal and I would pass this info along.
I've seen them sold used for more than that on here over the years...

Mods please move or close if this thread is in the wrong place

Did my 350Z with the east wood. Did my Mustang GT with the PVC and nylon Mallet.

The Mustang came out perfect. The Z was a bitch.

You can't be conclusive when comparing two different methods on two different cars. Some fenders are harder to roll than others. Cars will use different metals, the fenders are different shapes, etc.

Regardless. Unless you are doing two or three cars a week, it's a waste.

Just spend the extra hour and do it the "hard way" for $5.

Checked it a few times over the past year and seen it for about $200 from Eastwood unless it was black Friday or something... and I missed that last year
Just happened to check it this morning and I thought I would let people know if they were interested

I bought mine earlier today

Again not here to argue on which way is the best, to each their own

just letting people know about a deal on the tool, trying to help fellow members out that want it...
Just passing the word along...

There is zero precision using a bat or pipe.

An Eastwood roller is well worth the money. I have one and don't regret purchasing it.

Rent it out to people and it can become an asset.

Did my 240 with an Eastwood roller. Came out perfect when using a heat gun to the original paint.

Did my WRX with a jackhandle, and it came out decent. I would rather have done it with the Eastwood.

Eastwood rollers are pretty worthless on lowered cars...I havent been able to use mine in any of my cars since 2006.

True, especially for the front fenders. But it's pretty golden if you want to roll fenders or baby flare it a bit in the rears.

I had to drop my coilovers out of the strut towers to use my eastwood. Id just save the headache and buy a PBM roller.

i did read that 'regular' (eastwood, similar) fender rollers arent lowered car friendly, but i think i also read you could just manipulate your coilovers or whatever to raise your car, didnt know you had to drop the coilovers out the tower, thats ridiculous.

either way, for ease of use, i acquired a pbm roller.

not to thread jack but a little bit about pbm rollers.
the site says theyre currently sold out, and when i talked to them about when theyre getting more in they told me something along the lines of theyre switching up who makes them for them, and maybe playing with another design so there is not ETA on a a new shipment of rollers. that was about a month or 2 ago

All you need to do is raise the coilover.

Dropping the whole strut will make the arm move up/down as you are rolling.

That's a bad idea as it will give an inconsistent roll/pull.
