Yay~! Circuit Sport Tie Rods!
I've had nothing but problems with these Circuit Sport v2 Tie Rod Ends on my s14. The Passenger side wouldn't allow the inner tie rod to scroll in enough to get enough toe out. Ended up breaking before I had to cut my inners to be able to adjust it enough.
Broke on the freeway while going 75 on an onramp/freeway connector. Just bought Tein outers to replace them. I'm scurred to buy these again lol. Edit: Had to fix it as it was getting dark in a parking lot in Compton. HAHAHA. That was a little worrisome. |

That's odd, we sell these all the time and had no complaints and I have personally installed these. Did you get them from an authorized C.S. dealer? maybe you got a copy of a copy of a copy(etc whatever everything is a copy now days). Or perhaps you got a defective one???
Either way first time hearing this. Maybe others will chime in.... Even the Godspeed ones(v1) we sell held up in my friends drift rb25 s13. |

There are a few instances of these breaking, but normally its the blue part that strips out on the freeway. The Tien ones are great. Install was easy and there is more then enough room for adjustment on them. Yeah you lose bump steer correction but I am pretty low and its not bad at all.

IDK I am not an engineer and cannot give you an exact reasoning, but I am guessing it is due to material. I just know what I have held in my hands in two instances and what I have read. This was about 3 years ago so maybe they have changed and updated the design but there are a few accounts of it out there.

Possible he hit the maximum misalignment of the rodend more than once fatiguing it to eventual failure
Drifting is actually pretty easy on tierods in the normal sense, unless you overcenter or have binding somehow |

Did you expect anything less from poorly made knock off parts? I'd be thanking (insert god of choice here) that you didn't have the wheel pinch a direction and ruin the whole car over saving 50 bucks on a crucial suspension part.

I always try and steer people (pun intended) away from buying these, since they break ALL the time.
I've seen people break the shanks, break the ends, have the inserts come out of the ends, and strip out the threaded section. General junk, like all of spherical ones besides SPL and GKtech.

GKtech has some for a awesome price even after shipping compared to SPL, as long as you do not pick FedEx for $417 dollars in shipping.

Well you can see the rodend didn't strip out the turnbuckle, so you know it wasn't just yanked really hard, it was simply bent too far over and snapped
Looks like the rodend just isn't up to the task of misaligning as far as it was asked to, the qa1's spl uses tilt farther, that series just tends to loosen too quickly for my liking |

Those outer rods are all a gimmick.
They all break. SPL is the only one that I know of that is tested and proven. Even so, with the SPL ends, they tell you not to use ALL of the bumpsteer adjustment because it puts a lot of strain on the shank. Unless you have corrected suspension geometry i.e. modified knuckles with a dropped steering arm mount.
